Columbia Industries Inc. manufactured its first polyester resin, “Columbia 300” bowling balls, in Ephtata, Washington, near the Columbia River, in 1960. Since then, Columbia Industries Inc. has developed and manufactured the world-famous Columbia 300 bowling balls, which made this company one of the leaders in America's most popular leisure sport. Today, Columbia Industries Inc. manufactures its signature Columbia 300 bowling balls in San Antonio, Texas, with distribution in all 50 states and about 30 countries around the world.
